Reporting a correction

If an article contains a mistake, write to the address above and name the page and the sentence. A correction is made in the article itself, and a factual error is corrected whether or not it is favourable to anyone. Where a source has been misread or a term has been defined in a way that does not match the applicable rule, that is worth reporting too.

Suggesting a source or a subject

The magazine relies on public sources, published standards and professional practice. If a register, a standard, a regulator's guidance or a piece of reporting would improve an article, it can be sent to the same address. Suggestions for subjects are read, though not every one can be covered.

What the editors cannot do

The Diligence Review does not carry out investigations, give legal or financial advice, or act for anyone in a dispute. Messages asking for help with a specific case cannot be answered with advice, because that depends on facts and on the law that applies to them. A reader who needs that help should take it from a qualified professional in the relevant jurisdiction.

Privacy

Writing to the editorial address creates an email in the editors' mailbox and nothing more. The site does not run a contact form and does not ask for personal details beyond what a reader chooses to put in a message. How that message is handled is described in the legal notice.
